SIMONS, Circuit Judge.

There are here involved five appeals from an order of the district court approving a plan of reorganization for the debtors in proceedings under Chapter X of the Bankruptcy Act, 11 U.S.C.A. § 501 et seq. The appeals overlap. Both appellants and appellees variously challenge and defend findings of fact, conclusions of law and the provisions of the order in multiple aspects. The most important contentions which lie at the root of the whole controversy, however, are in respect to the status that is to be accorded the claims of the Columbia Gas System, Inc., successor to…
