Appeal by the plaintiff, Nathan Kranskopf, from a judgment of the Supreme Court in favor of the defendant, entered in the office-of the clerk of the county of New York on the 14th day of February, 1898, upon the dismissal1 of. the complaint by direction of the-court after a trial at the New York Trial Term.

The action was brought for false imprisonment, and the plaintiff’s-complaint was dismissed at the- close of his evidence,'and from the judgment entered upon that dismissal of the complaint he takes-this appeal.'
It appears that on the 11th day of January, 1895, the ■ defendant appeared before a police justice of the city of New York, and applied for a warrant to issue against the plaintiff for an alleged perjury.
