OPINION

KOCH, Judge.

This appeal involves a dispute concerning the intestate distribution of the estate of an elderly couple who were murdered by one of their two grandsons. The mother of the innocent grandson filed this action in the Chancery Court for White County seeking a determination of the parties’ interests after the child of the guilty grandson claimed that he was entitled to a portion of his great-grandparents’ estate.
