The plaintiffs, Jeffrey J. Langdale (“Langdale”) and Stanley Schlackman (“Schlackman”), brought this action against the defendants, Shirley A. Menendez (“Menendez”), Kevin Dagle (“Dagle”) and the Town of Shrewsbury (“Shrewsbuiy”), seeking damages for injuries suffered when they were arrested and detained pursuant to warrants issued by the Westborough District Court on criminal complaints filed against them by Menendez.
