This case presents novel questions concerning the scope of employer liability for sex discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”). Plaintiff has alleged violations of Title VII and several pendent state law claims against four defendants: Volkswagen of America (“Volkswagen”), Peak Technical Services, Inc. (“Peak”), Fairfax Motor Imports d/b/a Fairfax Volkswagen (“Fair-fax”), and Richard Blaylock (“Blaylock”).
