Fanny Walker, hereinafter called plaintiff, brought suit against Peoples Finance and Thrift Company, a corporation, hereinafter called defendant, asking that certain loans which it was alleged defendant had made to her be declared null and void, and that defendant be required to return to her certain collateral security held in connection with the loans, together with all sums which had been paid by her thereon.
