In an action to recover on a guarantee, the defendants appeal from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Morrison, J.), entered November 14, 1988, as denied their cross motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint, and the plaintiff cross-*588appeals from so much of the same order as denied its motion for summary judgment in its favor.
