This is an action by plaintiff for personal injuries allegedly *467sustained as the result of defendant’s sexual abuse of her during early childhood. The defendant now moves pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (5) for an order dismissing the complaint on the grounds that the time to bring the action has long expired.
