This is an action on a judgment recovered in the county court of Fond du Lac county, Wisconsin, on June 9,1882, by the respondent against the appellant here, on a contract debt .originating in 1881. The respondent was at all those times and is still a resident of Illinois, and has at no time been a resident of either Wisconsin or Washington. The appellant- was at all those times a resident of Fond du Lae county, Wisconsin, and so remained *85till September 1, 1887, when he removed to Seattle, Washington.
