Certiorari to review the proceedings of the Board of Adjustment of the City of St. Louis granting permits for the demolition of nine buildings located in an area of the city governed by Soulard Historic District Ordinance No. 57078 and its enabling Ordinance No. 56100. These buildings were acquired by respondent Boys’ Club of St. Louis, Inc. with the intention of demolishing them for the purpose of expanding its adjacent athletic field.
