This appeal is another in the long line of court hearings relating to the conviction of Lonnie Mitchell for the crime of rape in Union County in March 1959. The original conviction was affirmed by this court in Mitchell v. State, 230 Ark. 894, 327 S. W. 2d 384. Subsequent thereto, over a period of 10 years, there have been numerous court hearings, in both federal and state courts.
