Plaintiff, Jane R. Clemens, appeals from this court’s denial of her post verdict motions.

Plaintiff’s motor vehicle was lightly struck in the rear on June 2, 1992, while plaintiff was stopped at a red light. The threshold issue presented was whether or not plaintiff could recover noneconomic damages by virtue of her selection of the limited tort option pursuant to Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law, 75 Pa.C.S. §1701 et seq.
