Appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, "and from an order denying a new trial. The facts are stated in the opinion of the court.

— The appellant was charged by the information with the crime of aiding and abetting his wife, Grettie Rozelle, in willfully and maliciously throwing vitriol upon the person of another, with the intent to injure the flesh and disfigure the body of such person, was tried by a jury, found guilty, and sentenced to imprisonment in the state prison for nine years.

There was a demurrer to the information, on the ground that the offense charged was not set forth therein with sufficient certainty, and that it did not conform to sections 951, 952, and 953 of the Penal Code, which demurrer was…
