The state appeals, following our grant of certification, from the judgment of the Appellate Court reversing the judgment of conviction of the defendant, Nathan J., rendered after a jury trial, of the crime of risk of injury to a child in violation of General Statutes § 53-21 (a) (l).* 1 State v. Nathan J., 99 Conn. App. 713, 915 A.2d 907 (2007).
