SCHENCK, Judge:

A military judge sitting as a special court-martial (SPCM) convicted appellant, in accordance with her pleas, of absence without leave (AWOL), marijuana use, larceny, and forgery, in violation of Articles 86, 112a, 121, and 123, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886, 912a, 921, and 923 [hereinafter UCMJ]. The convening authority approved the adjudged sentence to a bad-conduct discharge (BCD), confinement for four months, a $5,000 fine, and reduction to Private El.
