The question as to whether Phillis Oldham, under the facts found by the jury in this case, was the wife of William Oldham at the timé of his death, so as to be entitled to a homestead and other property exempt *564from administration, has been decided by this court adversely to such a claim. She being one-half African blood, and he being white, they could not have been man and wife at the time of his death under the laws of this State. (Clements et al. v.
