Defendant, David M. Kluck, was found guilty by a jury in Hennepin County District Court of the crime of aggravated robbery in violation of Minn. St. 609.245. Appealing from the judgment of conviction, he raises a number of issues, three of which merit consideration in some detail: (1) Whether the removal of defendant from the courtroom during the preliminary hearing was a denial of due process or of the right of confrontation; (2) whether the trial court erred in holding a supplemental Rasmussen hearing after trial began and refusing either to suppress evidence there…
