1Opinion of the Court

TIREY, Justice.

This is a condemnation suit. Pertinent to this discussion the court submitted the following issue: “What do you find from a preponderance of the evidence, if any, was the market value of the strip of land condemned by the State for highway purposes, including both buildings thereon, subject to the leases thereon, at the time it was con- dcmned, considered as severed land?” to which the jury answered “$30,000.00.” The judgment followed the verdict. Appellant seasonably filed his amended motion for new trial, which was overruled, and perfected his appeal to this court.
