Appellants/appellees Mary Adams et al. 1 are nineteen Illinois and Indiana residents (the “foreign plaintiffs”) who originally joined with four Texas plaintiffs 2 to sue appellee/appellant Baxter Healthcare Corporation and appellee American Heyer-Schulte (together “Baxter”), 3 along with appellee Dr. James Fox, for injuries caused by allegedly defective breast implants.
