This is an appeal under G. L. c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, from a conviction for the sale of marijuana. The defendant was given a suspended sentence to the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Concord and placed on probation for two years. The Commonwealth’s evidence of the sale was given by a police officer who testified that on April 20,1968, at about 1:00 or 1:30 p.m. he met the defendant and bought the marijuana from him.
