On April 20, 1929, the electors of defendant, a second class school district, authorized the issuance of bonds in the sum of $120,000 for the purpose of erecting a high school building in such district. The validity of the election and bonds is not questioned. Thereafter, the trustees of the district submitted to the electors the question of whether or not the old school building should be dismantled and the new building erected at the site of the old building.
