Dr. Arthur Hebb, a surgeon specializing in procrology or rectal surgery, operated on David Brown, at the Church Home and Infirmary in Baltimore on December 21st, 1928, for an internal anal fistula. Brown remained in the hospital for several days, and after his return to his home visited Dr. Hebb’s office, where his wound was dressed and treated daily, except for Saturdays and Sundays, for two months, and for a month after that he went every other day.
