The plaintiffs brought an action against the defendant to recover for the death of their minor son, who was eight years and five months old at the time of the accident which resulted in his death.
The defendant was the owner of a tract of land of approximately eighty-five acres, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, upon which was situate the small mining village of Besco, consisting of some twenty-three houses scattered about an opening in the woods.
