The majority concludes that, under the Interstate Agreement on Detainers ("IAD"), a defendant who requests a transfer back to the sending state on a one-time basis and for the limited purpose of securing the counsel of his choosing, thereby waives any violations of the IAD arising from transfers prior to the requested transfer.
