BALICE, Judge.

This is an appeal from a decision of Family Court ordering the appellant to pay child support.

The appellant and the child’s mother had sexual relations while they were in high school. When the child was born in 1974, the mother informed the appellant that he was the father. Believing this to be the fact, the appellant has visited the child, given it presents, and acknowledged that he is the natural father of the child.
