This action was brought by McCall against 'Keesling for slanderous words spoken of him by Keesling. In order to present the questions which are to be decided, it is necessary to set out the complaint. It is alleged in the first paragraph “ that the parties live in said county, the plaintiff living some half mile in a northerly direction from the defendant, across a field.
