In the case of DuBois v. Coen, Ex’r., 100 Ohio St., 17, 125 N. E., 121, this court held that the term “legal relations” comprised not only marital relations, but also property which the law gave to husband or wife upon death of a consort. The same case is also authority for the principle that a husband and wife, living together, cannot alter such legal relations by any post-nuptial agreement contracting away the dower rights and distributive share in the property of each other.
