Plaintiffs, Elton Gates and Luster Nelson (collectively “Plaintiffs”), have brought a class action law suit against the City of Chicago (“the City”) and Superintendent of Police, Philip Cline (together, “the City Defendants”), as well as police officers Brian Towery, Paul Galiardo, James Echols, and Dwayne Collier (together, “the Officer Defendants”) (the City Defendants and the Officer Defendants collectively, “Defendants”).
