The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) appeals the circuit court’s denial of its petition for a writ of mandamus. The VA petitioned for a writ to compel the chief administrative law judge to allow the VA’s intervention in the workers’ compensation proceeding of veteran Mark Hollis to seek payment for medical care the VA provided Mr. Hollis’ for his work-related injury.
