OPINION
DAVID PURYEAR, Justice.
A jury found appellant David Bryan Ballard guilty of failing to register as a sex offender. See Tex.Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 62.10(a), (b)(2) (West Supp.2004). The jury also found that appellant had two previous felony convictions and assessed his punishment at imprisonment for life. In three points of error, appellant contends: the evidence is factually insufficient to sustain the guilty verdict, the sexual assault conviction giving rise to his duty to report is void, and the sexual assault conviction was erroneously used to enhance his punishment in this…
