This case is before the court on a petition of ARO, Inc. (the Company) to review an order of the National Labor Relations Board (the Board) and the Board’s cross-application for enforcement of its order.

The question before this court is whether there is substantial evidence to support the Board’s decision that the Company violated § 8(a)(1) of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended (the Act), 29 U.S.C. § 158(a)(1), by electing not to re-employ Mrs. Mary Williams, a temporary employee who had been discharged.
