Defendant-appellant State Highway Commission (State) brings this appeal from an adverse judgment in an inverse condemnation proceeding brought by plaintiff-appellee Blackiston Land Company (Blackiston).
On September 8, 1964, the State entered a strip of land owned by Blackiston. The land was adjacent to and abutted State Highway 131 in Clark County. The purpose of the entry was to enlarge the roadway from two lanes to four. Blackiston approved of the entry subj ect to its right to receive just compensation for the land.
