OPINION AND ORDER GRANTING IN PART AND DENYING IN PART DEFENDANTS’ MOTIONS FOR JUDGMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE VERDICT, OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE FOR NEW TRIAL OR FOR REMITTITUR

SPENCER WILLIAMS, District Judge.

These cases were consolidated for trial from Trial Groups II and IV. Plaintiffs claim damages for bodily harm and emotional distress as a result of alleged exposure to defendants’ asbestos products. With respect to certain plaintiffs in Trial Group II, defendants move for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, or in the alternative, for new trial or for remittitur.
