This suit was brought by appellants against appellees to recover damages alleged to have been sustained to their property from the construction of an elevated railroad in the street upon which the property abuts. Appellants’ property fronts east on Wabash avenue, in the city of Chicago, and is situated between Jackson and VanBuren streets.
