This is an action of tort brought by the administrator of the estate of John F. Sullivan, a boy about twelve years and five months old (hereinafter referred to as the plaintiff), who was killed in front of the defendant’s railroad station in Reading in this Commonwealth by a train of the defendant about 5:20 o’clock in the afternoon of April 6, 1920. The station building was located next to the Boston bound track of the main line between Boston and Portland.
