OPINION

LARSEN, Justice.

Timothy Venhaus appeals his convictions for the offenses of murder and attempted murder. We affirm.

FACTS

Timothy Venhaus was sixteen years old when, on November 10, 1993, he repeatedly fired a shotgun through the door of his French teacher’s home, wounding her and inflicting wounds that eventually killed her husband. Venhaus has suffered from behavioral disorders and mental problems since the age of six.
