The People of the State of California petitioned this court for writ of mandate ordering respondent superior court to (a) annul and vacate its orders of March 7 and 13, 1986, which sustained the demurrer of real parties in interest Ronald Jerome Jennings and Ricky Rime Washington to that portion of an information which charges the special circumstances enumerated in Penal Code section 190.2, subdivisions (a)(17)(i) and (vii); (b) enter a new and different order overruling that portion of real parties’ demurrer relating to the allegations of special circumstances; and (c) enter…
