On February 22, 2011, Plaintiff, Jeffrey Thompson, an inmate currently confined at the State Correctional Institution in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, filed a civil rights complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for violations of his First Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment rights “relative to the exercise of religious freedom and in violation of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA).” (Doc. 1, p. 3, ¶ 8). Plaintiff requests declaratory relief that he is entitled to “two (2) Christian feasts annually; Christmas and Easter.”…
