Appellant was charged with capital murder. He filed motions to suppress the five incriminating statements he had made to the police. The trial court denied the motions. The result was that the statements could be introduced into evidence at trial. Appellant then entered a plea of guilty to the charge of capital murder, but the plea was conditioned upon this appeal of the trial court’s denial of his motions to suppress the evidence.
