Dove delivered the opinion of the court. This case involves the validity of an instrument changing the beneficiary in a life insurance certificate from appellee, Lillian Thompson, to appellant, Stella Steindler. Charles A. Thompson, now deceased, was an employee of the Florence Stove Company at its Kankakee, Illinois, plant, and J. M. Fawthrop was the local office manager. The main office of the company is at Gardner, Massachusetts.
