William J. O’Brien died October 22, 1943, at 5 145 A.M. leaving plaintiff, his daughter, as his only heir-at-law and next of kin. At the time of his death he was insured for $3000 under certificate No. 3603 through a group life insurance policy of the American Standard Life Insurance Company written for the members of Local 134 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also insured for $1000 under certificate No. 7492 of the Electrical Workers Benefit Association.
