Plaintiff brought this action as beneficiary named in an individual certificate of insurance furnished to Max Thieme, deceased, to recover insurance benefits in the sum of $1,500 under the provisions of a policy of group life insurance issued by defendant, The Union Labor Life Insurance Company, to International Photo Engravers’ Union insuring the life of every member in good standing of that union at the time of his death.
