Christine and Earl Bennett bought their home at the height of the housing bubble. Like thousands of other Americans, the Bennetts thought they were getting a great deal on the home of their dreams. But shortly after they signed their mortgage contract, the Bennetts found themselves unable to keep up with the monthly payments.
