We are called upon by this appeal to construe the residuary clause of the last will and testament of William A. Moale, deceased.

The testator by his will executed on the 21st day of Novem-. her, 1877, first devised to his daughter Judith Carter Cutting, a lot of ground on the west side of Charles street in the City of Baltimore “for and during her life, and at her death to her child or children, and in default of child or children surviving, to my daughter Evelyn Byrd Burden, and my son William A.
