This matter comes to the Court on plaintiffs’ motion for summary judgment, Defendant Norman’s motion for summary judgment against Defendant Bowen on the cross-claim, the plaintiffs’ motions for class certification, and more recent motions to dismiss filed by the defendants. 1 Because the motions to dismiss rest upon claims that the case is now moot, the Court believes it is necessary to address those motions first in order to determine whether it continues to have jurisdiction over this case.
