Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Chemung County (Hayden, J.), entered October 27, 2000, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of sodomy in the second degree.
Defendant’s stepdaughter approached a police officer and disclosed that she had been sexually abused by defendant. Police arranged for the stepdaughter to call defendant, but no incriminating statements were made.
