This action was tried upon the facts, without a jury, and the Court makes the following Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law:

Sixteen cases of sheepskins were carried by the Steamship Rio Parana under clean bill of lading from Buenos Aires to New Orleans, where the vessel arrived on July 17, 1944. Upon being discharged from the vessel, the shipment was stored — the cases remaining un*280opened — on a steel-enclosed wharf, protected from the weather. -
