On November 19, 1930, plaintiff was a passenger on one of defendant’s street railway cars, being transported from the business district of the city of Shreveport to her home on Stephenson street, near its intersection with Thornhill street, along which at that time defendant’s street car line ran. As the street car was running along Thornhill street on schedule time, and before it reached the intersection with Stephenson street, the plaintiff gave the usual signal indicating her desire to leave the car at the next stop.
