The plaintiff prayed for judgment against the defendant company for twenty-five thousand dollars, referring to it as Morgan’s Louisiana & Texas Railroad Company.
After alleging that it operated a line -of steam railroad for the transportation of passengers and that he had purchased a ticket from the company and paid his fare,'he averred that he was on the 3rd of August, 1900, a.passenger on car No. 318 of said company en route from New Orleans to Morgan City.
