This suit was instituted in the County Court of Dallas County on February 16, 1897, by the defendant in error to recover of the plaintiff in error the value of one Starr piano, alleged to have been of the value of $400. Plaintiff in error filed his answer on March 1, 1897, claiming to be a purchaser of said piano for a valuable consideration, and without notice of the lien claimed by the defendant in error.
